Leg Ulcer Patient Video
A 65-year-old male patient discusses treatment with ALTRAZEAL for a chronic ulcerative wound at the ankle. His non-healing wound was a side effect of treatment with hydroxyurea for leukemia.
The wound did not heal with prior dressing and was painful (8-9 out of 10 on the VAS). Dressing changes were painful as well.
Patient describes treatment with ALTRAZEAL as “…a night and day difference. No pain…” After application of ALTRAZEAL, the ulcer started healing right away. Pain on VAS was dramatically reduced from 9-10 to 1-2. Within two weeks a “total difference in the healing process” was observed.
At the time of the interview, the ulcerative wound was continuing to heal rapidly, and described as “the size of a dime.”
