Venous Leg Ulcer Case Study*
A 67-year-old patient presented with chronic venous leg ulcers (VLUs) that had been resistant to treatment and present since 2004. The patient had previously been managed with multiple treatment strategies, including compression, which resulted in improvement but incomplete wound closure.
Treatment with ALTRAZEAL
ALTRAZEAL was applied to the wound.
After application of ALTRAZEAL, the wound showed rapid response with complete epithelialization.
Closure was achieved by day 7.
